Avi and the Cello

Went studio shooting the other day. This is just a few of what I took. The rest will be uploaded soon. Used Canon 350D. The model's from the same university as I'm in. Personally, I prefer the black and white shots better. The expression and emotion are better exhibited through these pictures as compared to the coloured ones. And yeah, I'm open to constructive criticism, so feel free to judge. It helps me get a better hang of studio shooting as this is my first. Cheers.

Langkawi Trip

I went to Langkawi 2 weeks back with me family. It was ab-so-lute-ly fun! Went to severals places but my favourite was the Petronas station by the harbour. Why?Well, simply because there were boats and I loved the ambience. The deck, jetty, the water...everything was lovely. And on one of the small islands we went, there was this huge dead tree. God knows why am I so drawn to leafless tress. I'm just as puzzled. Anyway, the trip was nothing but yeeeps!-ful. And here are bits of what I've taken.

So, enjoy!

At the Zoo

I went to the zoo the other day with Ben and his family. This time, the place wasn't as wrecked as the last time I went even though the animals seemed grief stricken. No kidding. It's like the whole zoo was morbid...animals mourning over their own sad lives.

But I had fun nonetheless, thanks to my little niece. Not many pictures were taken though. It was drizzling that day and the lighting wasnt good enough. But I managed to capture this monkey's(whatever you call it) sad expression. Well, I'm almost 100% certain it was feeling blue. No no...I'm positive that the monkey was sad. U'huh..yeah.
And this particular parrot seemed overstimulated. It was alone on a tree branch, isolated from other parrots. I guess, prolonged loneliness caused it to think that the visitors were of its kind.

And ohh...the tree. There's something about it that made me drawn to it.
So yeah, thats bout it. Enjoy.
